KC Sportbike Society
Season Opener took place on April 2 , 2022 , in the Kansas City area . CMA chapter , Warriors for Christ # 1018 , out of Harrisonville , Missouri , set up their ministry tent . A few other local chapters from the KC area helped in the ministry . There were close to 1,000 bikes . We blessed many bikes and prayed with many .
There were two gentlemen we visited with early in the day . When they left the event , a woman in a car hit both of them . One was hospitalized but ok , and the other returned to the event . He wanted to let us know he felt that they weren ' t hurt very bad because they had those shop towels we ' d given them . He thanked us and told us how appreciated CMA is . What a boost to our members ' faith .
In the chapters here in KC , we have an excellent opportunity to minister to the sportbike community through events like this . But weekly , on Sunday mornings at a Café Racer coffee shop , there are , on average , over 100 bikers that show up and grab a coffee and take over the streets surrounding the shop . Every type of bike imaginable . CMA tries to be there as often as possible . Relationships are being formed , and ministry is being done . Keep us in prayer for this ministry . The enemy has a significant presence there , and we want to go to war for those souls here in Kansas City . CMA
