West Virginia has countless routes to explore . There are roads for the novice rider and the most experienced , roads with just a few

curves and mountains , and those packed with both .

One of our favorite routes falls right in the middle . It has curves and straights , mountains and valleys , and can be driven by riders of any skill level . It is called the Holly River Loop . It starts in the state ’ s geographical center and follows WV 15E through Diana to WV 20N past Holly River State Park . From there , you follow the twists

and turns of WV 20N to Rock Cave , turning left onto WV 4S . Take WV 4 through the quaint town of Ireland to Falls Mill , where some great scenic stops are perfect for pictures . After Falls Mill , you will continue on WV 4S through Heaters and Flatwoods and back to Sutton , where you started . The last time we did this loop , we did it backward and stopped at both Falls Mill to see the waterfall and the Bull Town Museum , timing the ride to have lunch at Holly River State Park . If you plan to stop , make sure you bring your appetite : lots of delicious food and homemade pies !

the fall of 2012 , Shawna and I answered God ' s call on our lives to represent Jesus at motorcycle rallies better . Initially , we thought we could go it alone until my pastor advised us differently . He counseled us to find an established and anointed motorcycle ministry to equip us to minister in the biker community . After much prayer and Google searching , God revealed CMA to us . We visited our first chapter meeting in Andalusia , Alabama .

We found two couples praying for God to send help when we arrived . One couple had already moved to another state but was willing to continue to attend these chapter meetings to keep the chapter from becoming inactive . Shawna and I walked into

Hardee ' s to find the Area Rep , and these two couples were trying to decide what to do with the chapter . Little did we know that another couple had just moved to town and also sought CMA involvement . So , in December 2012 , the local chapter went from four to eight people and stayed active .

We officially joined CMA in January 2013 . It didn ' t take long for them to give us the role of webmaster . As soon as we met the criteria for officer positions , Shawna and I became chaplain and president , respectively . As the chapter grew , we filled most other chapter officer positions . We became Area Reps in 2017 , then State Coordinator in 2019 . Finally , in January 2022 , we

answered God ' s call to become National Evangelist for CMA . Shawna and I want to express that God ' s direction for us to join CMA and ultimately serve as National Evangelists has been an honor and privilege … not to mention one wild ride . Our most significant memories are " doing CMA " as a family and raising our two daughters in the ministry . Thank you , CMA . CMA
