“I planted, Apollos watered, but
God was causing the growth. So
then neither the one who plants
nor the one who waters is any-
thing, but God who causes the
growth. Now he who plants and he
who waters are one; but each will
receive his own reward according
to his own labor” (1 Corinthians
3:6-8, NASB)
You and I are to be involved in
the harvesting process whether it is
plowing the field, planting seeds,
watering, fertilizing, or reaping the
harvest. We may not see the har-
vest first hand and that’s okay,
because it is God who moves a per-
son from a state of unbelief to
belief, we are simply His hands to
serve and share His love. Rather
than being consumed with only
how many people came to Christ, I
believe our challenge is to adjust
our thinking to focus on how many
people have been served and how
many have heard about Jesus. And
even though it may take a while,
we must continue to water and
tend the fields if we want to see the
harvest.
“Let us not lose heart in doing
good, for in due time we will reap if
we do not grow weary” (Galatians
6:9, NASB). CMA

• Discipleship: mentoring and
growing people (Matt. 28:19; 2
Tim 2:2)
• Evangelism: going out and
looking for ministry opportu-
nities (Matt. 28:19) In 2020, our theme is “Mission
True.” The only way we will accom-
plish this vision is with healthy
chapters and members focused on
the vision of CMA, “changing the
world, one heart at a time.”
Finally, a healthy chapter
attracts healthy and positive peo-
ple. Positive people breed positive
people. Negative people breed neg-
ative people. This is why it is so
important to have a healthy well-
balanced chapter that understands
its purpose and mission. The Purpose of a Healthy Chapter
is to do the following:
• The chapter is a tool to accom-
plish our calling
• Outreach is the focus to reach-
ing the lost
• Reaching the lost is our com-
mission
• Exposure in the community is
how we reach the motorcyclists
