Take Exit 308 for US-59 South and go about 2.8 miles then left at the unmarked intersection that will put you on the old high- way and lead to Wild Horse Bar-B- Que on the hillside to your left. You have earned it! The building is pretty rustic (it hasn’t changed in the 25 years I have frequented the place) sits on the side of the hill and the drive is pretty rough, but it is worth the bother. Follow your nose due south on US-59 and you will come to Acorn and 71 South in about 80 miles or so. Now you are only 18 miles from Iron Mountain. What a day we have had; the beautiful Boston Mountains, two Highway 59s; one State and one Federal and some really great barbeque. What more could a biker ask for?
