CMA Youth Movement

summer has the potential
to be one of the most excit-
ing summers in Youth Movement’s his-
tory! I hope that you can join us at one
of our big events this year!
We’ll start the summer off together
in Gillette, WY at the National Rally,
June 18-23, 2019! This will be a time of
family and getting to know each other.
There will be fun, summer activities
going on as well as some intimate times
with the Lord.
Next up, we have the 2019
Firecracker Summer Series! We’ll begin
with the Arizona Firecracker event on
July 4th weekend. We are so looking
forward to seeing God bless and minis-
ter to all of the children coming to that
event. Soon after that, we will have
Firecracker 2019 at its original loca-
tions, Butler Springs Christian Camp in

Hillsboro, OH, July 19-21, 2019. We hope
to break the 100 people mark this year!
I believe it will happen!
Finally, we have the official LLMX
Mission Trip to the MX track at Loretta
Lynn’s Ranch in Tennessee. Registration
for that mission trip opens this month,
so please check your calendar and see if
you can come! Adults and students are
both welcome; adults in attendance
must have their Ministry-to-Minors
Sticker from CMA National. We also
have a family plan this year for the first
time ever! Bring your family group or
youth group of four for a discounted
total cost!
We look forward to connecting with
you all in just a few short months! God
bless you as you plan for this year’s
amazing summer! CMA
first step toward witnessing.
Simply answer back “God has
blessed me today.” That’s all, just
those simple five words. Then
watch the response from the
cashier. They really don’t care what
you say and probably are not really
listening, BUT that is not the
response they neither expect nor
have probably heard before.
Now I live in Georgia, right in the
middle of the Bible belt and I get a
lot of big smiles and “He has
blessed me too,” especially from
older people. I have had a couple
of “what?” responses and have had
several really nice discussions. I
know it’s not really witnessing, but
it is a simple way to start.
I have been doing this for years
and the best part is it gets easier
and easier. That is why I advocate
this way of getting started talking
to people about God. CMA

people? Well it’s like walking. You
have to take that small first step. I
suggest, to anyone who will listen
to me, the following action as a
“first step.” It works, is easy to do
and can produce some surprising
results.
When you fill your buggy at the
supermarket and you approach the
cashier, what is the first thing the
cashier says? They all say the same
thing because they have to or lose
their job. They smile and say “How
are you today?” Here is your simple
