Amen. By Morgan”
This is her exact words and
punctuation. I took a picture of it
from the top of a stepladder in the
garage.
We didn't suggest to Morgan to
pray for Oreo. In her heart she
trusted that God could help Oreo,
so she asked him for help. After we
read her prayer, Mary Ann and I
prayed for her prayer to be
answered.
Well, about a week later we
noticed he was getting better, his
symptoms were fading and he was
starting to regain his eyesight.
Oreo has been able to mature into
a very healthy and strong sled dog.
He can run and pull just as well and
fast as the rest of the team. He has
such tremendous enthusiasm.
Some of his mannerisms are
unusual and different than the rest
of the dogs; this reminds us of this
answered prayer.
Through this answered prayer,
our faith was made stronger.
Morgan's faith filled prayer is an
example of how we can trust the
Lord in all things.
Mathew 18:4 (NASB) “Whoever
then humbles himself as a child, he
is the greatest in the kingdom of
Heaven.”

In conclusion: for prayer to be
effective have faith and don’t stop
praying and asking our Father in
Heaven to answer our
prayers. CMA

Grandma why this had to happen.
This was a very sad moment for
Morgan and Grandma.
Earlier in the day, we had moved
the truck, swept the garage floor
and given the kids a box of side-
walk chalk. After seeing Oreo that
day, Morgan asked "can I just stay
in the garage for a little while?"
Well of course" we said and I,
Grandma and Jesse went to the
kitchen to prepare a meal. About
10 minutes later Morgan came to
the kitchen and asked us if we
would come to see what she had
done. Along with their earlier
drawn pictures we found a faith
filled prayer on the floor of our
garage.
Her prayer reads: "Dear God,
this prayer of mine is special
because Trust is included. Oreo
is one of a kind and he is having
trouble. Today I saw he couldn't
control his paws or his brain
properly. So I'm asking for him,
if you could give him a fresh
start and a new brain, and a new
body? I love Oreo and the others,
but Oreo needs your help, Lord.
