WE had such an amazing year, as we always do! Thank you to every adult who came to help make this event possible; we could not have done this event without your sacrifice.
For the students( and adults) reading this, whether you attended or not, don ' t forget what God did and has done in your life. If you are still waiting for God to move in your life, just ask Him. Be persistent. Be patient. We have a God who loves us more than we can imagine, and He wants what is best for us.
Our theme this year was Breakthrough. A breakthrough can take many forms, but we specifically focused on a breakthrough in our faith, which directly affects our lives. Breakthroughs take work. Scientists, explorers, and engineers donβ t achieve breakthroughs without commitment and countless hours of trial and error as they try to perfect the product.
Think about Newton ' s law # 3:β Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.β When we take time to connect with God or to
|
love our neighbors, friends, family, and teachers, we will experience an equal response. We will begin to see God working in our lives in new ways.
What is God telling you to do in your life? Maybe He ' s calling you to go to an event and tell a friend about Him? Maybe He ' s telling you to serve your parents and help around the house more?
Your obedience will only be met with blessings. Regardless of where you are in your walk with God, I want you to know that God loves you and He has a specific purpose for YOU!
You may feel like itβ s impossible for you to make a difference when there are millions of people in the world. You can make a difference; you are here as a light in the darkness! Your life matters.
You may be the only person in your friend group or circle of influence that will talk about God. You may be the person who makes that next breakthrough. Every item we use in our lives was born of one person, who likely enlisted multiple people to develop it. You have a purpose that God has
|
already prepared, and He wants to use you, just as He made you. Psalm 139:13, NIV says,β For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my motherβ s womb.β Jeremiah 1:5a, NIV says,β Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.β I hope that you can trust in that: God created you perfectly, no mistakes, no desired corrections, noβ I would change this next time.β
If you experienced a breakthrough in your life that you would like to share with us, please email us at ben @ cmausa. org. We would love to hear from you! CMA
