AT the Changing of the Colors
Rally 2021 , I shared a personal need that Becky and I had . Mrs . Becky had been diagnosed with a memory disorder . We asked for prayer , and from all across the building , the women came up front to pray . This was a time of encouragement and hope for us .
We have heard from many of you letting us know you continue to pray . How precious it is to be part of the CMA family . The love and support you have given us is immeasurable . In December 2021 , Becky went for a follow-up appointment . She received a good report that there was improvement . Praise God , and thank you for your love and prayers . We ask that you continue to pray .
“ But when the fullness of the time had come , God sent forth His Son , born of a woman , born under the law , to redeem those who were under the law , that we might receive the adoption as sons . And because you are sons , God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts , crying out , “ Abba , Father !” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son , and if a son , then an heir of God through Christ ” ( Galatians 4:4-7 , NKJV ).
The precious love of Jesus flows through the family of God . The support , strength , and blessings are part of the love of the family . We are part of the great family of God through the blood of Jesus . Our hope and future are secure in Jesus , not slaves , but sons and daughters . We are His . He cares for us . Lay hold of this fact . Rest in His love and peace .
We are called to show His love to others , to point them to Jesus . May we remember our calling and
responsibility as part of the family to encourage and lift up others . We are the hands of Jesus to reach out and love the unlovable as Jesus loved us . Follow Him , point others to Him that we may all experience the new birth .
