Run for the Son Tip
CHILLY CHILI RIDE
Here’s a way to have some chap-
ter fun, support Run for the Son,
and promote local ministry oppor-
tunities. This tip was sent to us by
the Fishermen Chapter #7, of
Arlington, Texas.
Chilly Chili ride is
planned for February,
which usually offers a chilly two
hour ride through the countryside.
After the ride we gather around a
O UR
warm bonfire and eat some good
homemade chili, with all the fix-
ings of course. We’ll have some
door prizes, and maybe an auc-
tion, with all proceeds going to
Run for the Son.
We encourage other groups,
our friends, neighbors, Christians,
and not-yet-Christians, to partici-
pate--everyone likes to eat! And
those who don't ride can enjoy the
chili and the fellowship time
around the bonfire.
We (The Fishermen) have a
suggested donation, but you
could just accept donations. Either
way, since we are always looking
for ministry opportunities. We
print up some complimentary
‘tickets’ to our members to give to
that special friend they’ve been
looking for a way to minister to.
What a great and fun way to
promote ministry and RFS. CMA
We want to know what you and/or your chapter are doing to support RFS.
