β Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved .β But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him ? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him ? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them ? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent ? That is why the Scriptures say , β How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news !ββ ( Romans 10:13- 15 , NLT ).
So many times , we hear this scripture and say we need to tell people about Christ . The issue is how do we do it and where do we start . Over the last several years , we have talked about reaching the lost and going to new places to share the love of Christ . One of the places CMA has started to minister is Fiddler Creek in Homer , Nebraska . About five years ago , a couple from Solid Rock Riders in Sioux City , Iowa , caught the vision of expanding outreach in the
Motocross world . Not exactly knowing what to do , they just went and offered to volunteer in any way they could . They also contacted another chapter , Warriors of Christ , out of Bellevue , Nebraska . These two chapters have developed a relationship with the board over this event . It was slow initially , but they have expanded the ministry over the past five years .
Jane and I had the privilege to work with these two chapters in September . We were impressed with what they had done and how much the racers and helpers loved CMA . CMA now offers pancake breakfast on Saturday mornings , bike blessings , flagging , opening prayer , and even the National Anthem . Spending time at the event , you realize it is easier for the board to put on the event since CMA is there . In addition to the help they give the promoters , you can see the relationship they have built with the racers , who range from 5 years to 20 years old .
When the scripture says how beautiful are the feet of the messengers who bring the Good News , it ' s talking about CMA members , too . These members are not only making an impact as volunteers , but they are also impacting the racer ' s lives . They are praying with parents , kids , and workers . They are showing up when no one else will , and they are shining the light of Jesus everywhere they go . So , when you ask where to go and how to start , there is an opportunity to touch someone ' s life for Christ everywhere you look . CMA
