pray with them and tell them about our Jesus . This year , God gave me words to use and a whole new approach in many ways . While replenishing ministry tools on the table in front of the registration counter , I had a couple of opportunities to share my testimony with new-to-the-rally visitors . As I handed a rag tract and kickstand coaster to one of them , he informed me that he was a Christian and was just there to check it out . At that time , God gave me the words that I used next ; I reached for a God β s Promises and told him to take it in with him and to open it to the front of the book for anything he was feeling and or questioning about the rally and himself being there . He informed me that he had been suffering from depression

and that he was there just to cut loose . I was able to look up the scripture that applied to that and pray with him before he went in . Once again , God took over and directed my words to a man who just needed to know that God would also be with him inside the rally .
My subsequent encounter was with a young single father who was questioning whether he should be there . Peer pressure from his friends brought him there , and peer pressure got him into the drunken state he was in . This time , God directed me straight to the God β s Promises and the scripture that applied to the young man β s anxiety . I confessed to him that I suffered from depression a few years back , and it was that book that got me

through it . In tears , this man was more concerned about his son and what he would do without his father . I was able to console him with the scripture in God β s Promises . I encouraged him not to drink anymore and to lean on the words in that book . CMA
