CMA vest is a representation of the call of God to world evangelism and reminds us of our identity as Christians , firmly founded on the Word of God , as we go out in ministry .

I recently returned from a mission trip to Ecuador with 29 CMA members , where everyone wore their vests . Because of this , we were easily identified from any distance . Our trip was planned around motorcycle and boat distributions to pastors to help evangelize in their part of the world . Early in the trip , we stopped for a break . While still on the bus , I saw three bikers like you would see in the United States . I felt compelled to talk to them . I approached them with some of our team , and we had the opportunity to pray with them and give them Bike Blessing stickers . It was a great time . A few days later , our team members were talking with two motorcycle police officers . They wanted to pray with them , but the policemen hesitated . The same three bikers we had prayed with before in another town rode up and were very glad to see us . The bikers talked to the police officers , and the door opened for our team to pray with the officers . Throughout the trip , people would ask about our vests and who we were . God opened doors for us .

Back in the airport in the United States , while going through customs , people would talk to us about our mission , having been drawn to us by our vests . One lady approached me and said she had seen us in her country and wanted to know about us . While no one was asked to wear their vest , we

all did ; that ’ s who we are . This trip reminded me of the value of wearing our vest and following the Holy Spirit .
