Beginners and experienced riders often have the same problems when braking . Practice is the only way to improve riding skills . Remember some simple guidelines . Never grab the front brake causing the front tire to lock . Always use smooth , progressive pressure .
Do not apply the front brake quickly in a curve when the bike is leaned over . Instead , stand the bike up then brake or very slightly use both brakes as you stand the bike up . Do not use the front brake at slow speed when the front tire is turned ; only use the rear brake . Braking is an important skill that needs to be practiced . Give yourself a break , brake properly and ride safe . CMA
