machines they ride on for protection . Relationships and faithfulness are vital to seeing people open to God ' s love .
What is amazing is how open bikers are to prayer . Motorcyclists are probably more aware of their mortality than most . If you don ' t know of someone who has had a mishap on a motorcycle , then you haven ' t ridden very long . Life can sometimes be unpredictable and scary , which is why faith in God is a powerful tool for navigating the unknown . For example , the president of a local motorcycle club had a bad accident where he hit a deer . We were asked to pray for him at an event . So we did , and everyone

joined by bowing their heads , and then afterward , they were so grateful for our prayers . Prayer , in particular , can help people cope with and overcome the worries and fears that can be so crippling .
Do bikers deserve to be blessed ? God loves bikers because God loves people . We wish all of our brothers and sisters on the road safe travels . And so we pray : Oh God , we ask that You be with us , that You be with our machines , that You be with the roads we travel , and that You bless us as we travel those roads . Let all of us who ride be aware of Your presence — pour out Your protection upon them . Keep our handlebars true and guide us on the

straight path . Bless our wheels as they move across Your creation ; anoint our eyes to be alert to dangers . Fix our seat wherever we roam that we may always return safely . Blessings in Jesus ' name , Amen . CMA |
