Where: Mme Byrd’ s Room 2012 Our local chapter of the Société Honoraire de Français recognizes outstanding scholarship, provides a means to focus activities on French language and Francophone cultures, and to encourage participation in contests or scholarship opportunities. The vision of SHF is to stimulate interest in the study of French, to promote and perpetuate international friendship, and to reward efforts toward furthering solidarity in the French speaking world. Who can join La Société Honoraire de Français? Students in 10 th-12 th grade, who have earned an A minus or higher in 3 consecutive semesters of French, including the current one, and at least an 80 % average or higher in all other high school classes.
