CP REWRITTEN HACK ATTACK
On the 27th of July (depending on what timezone you live), Club Penguin Rewritten was hit by a series of Distribution Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.
To those who don't know, DDoS attacks are illegal attacks, when the attacker uses his computer to get other computer servers to attack the chosen service all at once.
In this case, somebody used their computer, to join other computer servers and launch an attack on CP Rewritten. Such attacks are illegal.
But now there are many speculations on who caused this hack attack.
Many people say that Disney was the one who launched this attack, since Disney has not had a good relationship with CP Rewritten in the past.
But there's a flaw with this- Disney won't do such an illegal thing!
On the Discord Chat, Codey finally revealed who was most likely behind the hack attack -none other than Club Pingu.
For those who don't know, Club Pingu is another Club Penguin Private Server (CPPS) similar though different to CP Rewritten.
Codey recently mentioned that the people who own Club Pingu were the same people who launched a vicious hack attack on the original Club Penguin on May 2015.
The game should be back online now, and totally DDoS-proof.
