• Group of students who play chess together informally and in tournaments .

• Helps improve your skills , learn from other , and complete at different levels .

• A way to socialize and make new friends .

• Our Mission :

• Develop foresight , reasoning , and visual-spatial skills .

• Address academic / social needs of students by discussing character , life skills , and successful habits .

• Requirements :

• All Smitha Chess Club participants must always exemplify Cardinal R . E . D . ( Respect , Excellence , and Dedication ).

• Repeated failures to correct disciplinary or academic issues may result in dismissal from the club .

• Must be picked up promptly at 5:30pm on Wednesday afternoons to be eligible for chess club participation .

• All skill levels welcome

• Date / Time / Location of meetings

• Wednesdays from 4:30 – 5:30
