Sprint Saturday Windward / Leeward Series for Sportsboats and One Design Classes
f The Series is up to four races per round featuring short windward leeward sprints and caters for Sportsboats and One Design Classes . Held on Saturday inshore on Pittwater with a round scheduled each month , this is a great Series for both experienced sailors and those who are new to regatta style racing . f The Short Ocean Pointscore Series ( SOPS ) with courses starting and finishing in Broken Bay and races covering the waters between Terrigal to the north and Long Reef to the south . Held on Sundays over Spring and Summer with 1 to 2 races scheduled each month . The Series allows crew to experience offshore racing in a daylight coastal environment for a competitive race experience and preparation for longer offshore races like those in the Coastal Pointscore Series .
f The racing format sees races consist of a variety of windward / leeward offshore , triangular and passage style races up to 8 + nm offshore .
