Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club is regarded as one of the country ’ s premier sailing Clubs .
YACHT RACING
The Club ’ s sailing program and activities reflect this standing , and are second to none . The Club takes pride in its ability to host high quality , exciting , fun and social events in a pristine environment . Our professional event administrators ensure that our yacht racing is innovative , safe and user orientated with a varied program , combining inshore and offshore racing , two-handed sailing events , feature fun social events , overnight events and more offered all year round .
During daylight savings the schedule of events sees the addition of a Women ’ s Tuesday Twilight Series and a Thursday Twilight Series which is open to all .
Spinnaker and non-spinnaker racing are available in the majority of races and a variety of Rating Certificates and scoring options from scratch , IRC , ORC , PHS , OMR and Pursuit are used .
