On social security benefit, provision, schemes and labour laws for the PIE through Nukkad Natak
Centre for Integrated development is working on the empowerment of the people who works in informal economy sector such as Bidi industry, Carpet industry , Street vendors , construction workers and domestic workers.
this program aims to improve the living condition of these people through integrating them with the available social security schemes, and by providing vocation trainings . Awareness campaign plays major role in igniting any developmental change in the society.
various strategies are being used to spread awareness, in this era of social media street plays remain on of the most effective tool to mobilize the people therefore Centre for Integrate of development has organized a series of street plays with the support from EC-Action Aid.
These street plays were performed in the slums of Gwalior and Indore where people who works for informal sector resides, the content of the program was specifically customized according to the different informal sectors, through these plays the message was given that registering with the welfare board help in ensuring entitlements for the deserving people.
In the plays, each benefit were integrated in the script, process of application and followup were also demonstrated in the plays.
Six street plays were organized in Gwalior and 7 plays were organized in Indore , 1075 and 1450 people were mobilized through these campaign respectively.
