Tourism Today proudly presents its 34th edition, a reflection of the dynamic and creative spirit that defines our academic community in Cartagena de Indias. This issue explores tourism as a bridge between sustainability, culture, and human experience. In celebration of Earth Day, we feature a meaningful talk on environmental preservation, emphasizing the shared responsibility to protect the natural and cultural resources that make travel possible. Complementing this perspective, fifth-semester students showcased an international food exhibition as part of their Gastronomic Establishment Management course, highlighting both culinary skills and the richness of global cultures .
In parallel, ninth-semester students presented a timeline on the history of art, illustrating how artistic evolution shapes cultural identity and enhances the tourism experience. This edition also embraces the power of storytelling through an open reading club focused on travel narratives, inviting the academic community to connect through shared experiences and perspectives. rtistic evolution shapes cultural identity and enhances the tourism experience.
