FACTORIES AUDITED IN RISK COUNTRIES
We are aware of the responsibility that comes with sourcing goods in countries with
different legal standards and labour conditions. New Wave Group strives to continuous-
ly improve working conditions in the global supply chain (read more on page 28). An
important tool is third party audits. Our goal is to include all our suppliers in amfori
BSCI or an equal monitoring system and that the audit should result in a good grade.
The number of audited factories is increasing every year.

EMISSIONS FROM TRANSPORTATION
New Wave Group shall participate in fighting for reduced climate impact and seize every
opportunity to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from our business operations. Priority
areas are primarily where we have direct impact by transportation and logistics (read more
on page 32). Since air freight has the highest emissions of greenhouse gases, we have a
zero vision for this transportation. During 2018, the emissions from transportation were
heavily reduced as a result of less number of shipment with improved fill rate.
