Located on the banks of the Mississippi River , this spot provides a captivating view of pool 13 , the widest pool on the Upper Mississippi River . If you are looking for a few nights of rustic camping , this is the place . RV sites also available . An on-site volunteer host is present to assist visitors with questions and registration in the summer months . The park offers a sewer dump station , vault toilets , a boat ramp , playground , picnic sites , a picnic shelter , horseshoe pits and a small gravel boat launch .
