Clinton couple grow girls basketball feeder program by jenna blount
Scott Levine ’ s excitement is contagious .
He recalls the intensity of a basketball tournament in which the team he ’ s been coaching for the past four years , Clinton ’ s Little Queens , was playing .
The game was in double-overtime . One of the girls on the team got ahold of the ball and , in a last-ditch , “ Hail Mary ” effort , chucked it at the hoop . The ball went in .

“ These two are revolutionary . [ Scott and Christina ]”
- Clinton High School Girls Basketball Head Coach Cathy Marx
All the Little Queens watching the end of the game from the benches screamed , jumped up and rushed onto the court to celebrate . These teammates could have been out wandering around the concessions , but they instead were present and in support of the rest of their team . This behavior is a representation of the family-like culture that Scott and his wife , Christina , have worked hard to cultivate in the Little Queens program .
