I
f you asked someone to tell
you how they got into their
line of work, you might
expect a long, drawn out story
of how they got to where they
are. For Lizzy Greene, her
journey was much quicker.
“I started in theatre at age 7. An agent came
to one of our shows and everything after that
moved super quickly. I flew out to LA and got
the part of Dawn,” Greene said.
The part of Dawn she is referring to is her star-
ring role as Dawn Harper on the Nickelodeon
show Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. The series
follows a set of quadruplets and the situations
they get themselves into. Greene plays the only
girl and the oldest of the four. It’s a role that
Greene said she can find a lot in common with.
The show is in its fourth season on Nickelo-
deon, which is something that makes Greene
really happy to see. She attributes that longe-
vity to how everyone who watches the show
can find a character to connect with.
“I am so proud that our show has lasted
four seasons,” Greene said. “I think there is
something for everyone on our show, and it’s
very relatable to a lot of people.”
She must have a point about how relatable the
show can be, since the response Greene has
seen to Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn has been
huge.
“We’ve always received a great response from
the fans, and we had top ratings throughout,
which is always nice to hear and see!” Greene
said.
fantastic and their personalities shine through
everything they do.”
As far as the kinds of roles she would look for
in the future, Greene doesn’t feel that her cur-
rently starring in a comedy means she should
have to stay in that genre.
“I’d love to try a horror film, and then of
course take on some more dramatic roles,”
Greene said.
Outside of acting, most of what Greene likes
to do seem to revolve around exercising and
socializing.
“I love gymnastics, boxing, running and
playing with my animals,” Greene said. “I like
to stay active and hang out with the people
(and pets) I love!”
"I am so proud that our show has lasted four seasons. I think there
is something for everyone on our show, and it's very relatable to a
lot of people"
“I relate to her leadership skills, fun-loving
personality, and high energy,” Greene said. “I
have loved playing Dawn, and looked forward
to learning more about her every week.”
Beyond just relating to her character, Greene
said that the experience of being on Nicky,
Ricky, Dicky & Dawn has brought everyone
that works on the show closer with each other.
“All of our crew is like family,” Greene said.
“It’s crazy to think I grew up with all of the
same people around me, every day, for nine
hours a day. All of the cast really fine-tuned
their characters, so the writers had fun really
making each of us pop.”

But it’s not just great audience response and
top ratings that have come Greene’s way
because of the show. The show itself was no-
minated in 2015 and 2017 for a Kids’ Choice
Award for Favorite TV Show, and Greene’s
performance in particular has nabbed her three
Kids’ Choice Awards nominations in 2016,
2017 and 2018 for Favorite TV Actress.
“It was absolutely awesome and such an honor
to be nominated because I loved every minute
of my job!” Greene said.
As for Greene’s future, she named two
actresses that she looks up to and would like
to emulate.
“I really look up to Blake Lively and Jennifer
Lawrence,” Greene said. “Their range is

Greene is also extremely popular on social
media. She has over 75 thousand followers
on Twitter and over a whopping 2 million
Instagram followers. But she doesn’t take
her large social media platform for granted.
Instead, Greene said that she likes to use it to
bring encouragement and support to her fan
base and beyond.
“It’s great because I can share positive and
uplifting messages with my followers,” Greene
said. “I think it’s very uncool to use social
media to put others down, and I’ve seen it hap-
pen a lot. I hope to inspire others to be kind.”
