Well, the first ever season of Cleveland State Viking football is over. The Vikings finished the season 4-8, and
3-5 in MAC Conference play. For a first year team in FBS, and in football period. Four wins is pretty good. The Vikings four wins were against the Georgia State Panthers( 14-7), the Western Michigan Broncos( 48-21), the Eastern Michigan Eagles( 38-21), and the thrilling game against the Central Michigan Chippewas( 35-28). The Vikings have also picked up some pretty good recruits this season, which we will tell you a little more about in the upcoming pages, that should help the Vikings compete a little better in Conference play, as well as Non- Conference play. We are really hoping for some more fans to come out and support the Vikings next season. So, Vikings fans, let’ s stand up, and support, your Cleveland State Vikings! GO VIKES!
