Wintergrass is a family-run boutique winery growing their roots in Texas soil. The winery started out as a 20-foot shipping container that was retrofitted to serve as the initial production facility. They rapidly outgrew that facility and have since expanded to a 1,800-square-foot metal building.

Whiskey Road Winery is a true family affair, owned and operated by two generations of the Rowe family. The winery is situated on a working farm that occupies 74 acres.
The Rowe family planted their first Tempranillo vines in 2016 and slowly added other varieties as time allowed. The property is located in ranch country at an elevation of 800 feet with sandy loam soil.
Today the vineyard has Tempranillo, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Viognier planted.
