The Cleburne Parks and Recreation Department takes pride in providing you with a variety of parks, recreational activities and educational programming for your enjoyment that makes Cleburne a great place to live, work and play.

Splash Station is located in the middle of Hulen Park and comprises two pools, a competition pool and a leisure pool.
The competition pool has a diving board and is open for lap swim in mornings and open swim in the afternoons in the summer season. The leisure pool has a zero depth entrance, two 120-feet slides, a lazy river, play structure and a Splash Pad.
Each of the pools are equipped with an ADA chair. Splash Station is a yearround facility that offers lap swim, swim lessons, Cleburne swim team and open swim to the Cleburne community.
Hulen Park( pavilion and trails) 301 W. Westhill Drive
Hulen Park along West Buffalo Creek is one of the most frequented parks in Cleburne. Its amenities include Splash Station water park, two pavilions, a playground, a walking path, and much more. This park is home to Steam Engine 3417, which ran on the Santa Fe Railroad system during the 1900s. The park also hosts the annual Whistle Stop Christmas lighting displays each December.
In May 2026, a skate park opened at the park. Future improvements include linking the two sides of the park separated by Buffalo Creek via a pedestrian bridge and the expansion of the park’ s trail system and renovation or replacement of the restroom near Don Moore Field.
Kirtley Park at Lake Pat Cleburne 900 Lakeshore Drive
Kirtley Park borders Lake Pat Cleburne, spanning from the boat launch area to the dam and totals about 27 acres. Renovations to Kirtley Park will be one of the biggest projects undertaken. The project calls for adding loop trails, boardwalks, volleyball, swim beach, restrooms and park amenities, shade structures, parking, a boat ramp and wayfinding.
