Located just one mile outside of downtown , Booker T . Washington Community & Recreation Center is Cleburne ’ s only facility of its kind . It is a multipurpose facility featuring a cardio room , weight room , full basketball court and banquet hall with a catering kitchen . When visiting Booker T . Washington Recreation Center , patrons may purchase a daily pass , monthly membership or annual membership .

Cleburne ’ s Youth Sports Complex is known for its combination of classic looks and modern features . The 90-acre site , located at 900 All Star Parkway in southeast Cleburne , is the largest single park and recreation project ever undertaken by the city of Cleburne . The seven baseball / softball fields , 20 soccer fields and two football fields provide more than enough space for athletes of all ages to play and compete . Added attractions include two playgrounds , batting cages , four pavilions , scoreboards and lights on several fields .

Don Moore Field is a baseball / softball field available for reservations at Hulen Park . The field has benches , bleachers and field lights for night games . There are also restrooms and picnic tables .

Station has two pools , an eight-lane competition pool and a leisure pool . The competition pool has a diving board and rock wall . The leisure pool is a zero-depth entrance and has two slides , a lazy river , play structure and splash pad . Splash Station is a year round facility that offers lap swim , swim lessons and open swim , as well as hosting the Cleburne High School swim team . The Depot at the Cleburne Station is the home of the Cleburne Railroaders , a member of the American Association of Independent Baseball . The multi-use facility hosts events year-round including youth sports , concerts , 5K fun runs , car shows , soccer , civic events and special seasonal entertainment .

The course offers challenging play and picturesque views . The course retains , and perfectly blends into , the area ’ s natural beauty thanks to the builder ’ s decision to leave much of the native grass areas , which run along most of the holes , undisturbed . Restricting those areas from play leaves them available to area birds and other wildlife .

LAKE PAT CLEBURNE
Lake Pat Cleburne , located in the southwestern edge of Cleburne , at 1,500 surface acres , serves as the principle source of water for Cleburne .
Along with four conveniently located boat ramps around the lake , recreational activities at and around the lake include a municipal golf course , swimming , boating , picnicking and fishing .
The lake is an excellent location for bird watching , and pelicans and bald eagles have been observed during migratory periods .
Lake Pat Cleburne is also the site of Cleburne ’ s annual Fourth of July celebration where a dynamic fireworks display is launched from the dam . Thousands of spectators enjoy the display from every vantage point .
