The Cleburne Chamber of Commerce ’ s mission is simple — to promote business and the community . The chamber works hard to lead the way for business and provide real benefits for their members and their employees . Membership in the chamber is an investment in your community .
The Cleburne Chamber of Commerce is a 501 ( c ) 6 nonprofit organization , founded in 1919 . The chamber ’ s operational budget comes from the member ’ s annual investment , along with special events and programs . The Cleburne Convention & Visitors Bureau is also an important part of the Chamber with a focus on promoting and
marketing Cleburne as a leisure , meeting , and sports destination for the purpose of positively impacting Cleburne ’ s economy .
The Cleburne Chamber of Commerce Foundation , a 501 ( c ) 3 charitable organization was established in 2012 for the purpose of advancing

the Cleburne community through various charitable , educational , historical , business commerce and other betterment activities , programs and events . Events and programs such as Whistle Stop Christmas , Cleburne Cinco de Mayo and Cleburne Cares run through the foundation .
The chamber serves as the front door of the community by providing information to visitors , residents , businesses and organizations . It also represents member ’ s interests as the voice of the business community while creating opportunities for members to make connections and build relationships .
Chamber Ambassadors
The Chamber Ambassadors are a group of enthusiastic chamber members that play a vital role in helping the chamber accomplish the mission of promoting business and the community .
Ambassadors attend ribbon cuttings and awards presentations as cheerleaders and allies . They attend quarterly luncheons and other
chamber events as ushers and familiar faces . In their effort to support the chamber , they often grow professionally and personally by building business relationships within the community .
This is an active , purpose-driven group that truly supports and gives back to the Cleburne business community .
Leadership Cleburne
Leadership Cleburne is a unique , nine-month class that gives participants a better perspective into the different businesses and organizations that make up the Cleburne community .
The class meets each month ( September through May ) on the second Wednesday , typically 8 a . m . to 5 p . m . to learn about topics such as city ,
14 | Cleburne Chamber of Commerce county , and state government , healthcare , education , economic development , and quality of life .
During the program , participants discover and practice leadership skills for use in their professional and citizenship roles .
Additionally , participants build networks with current and emerging leaders , learn about community issues , and acquire skills to assure a more active and effective volunteer role in addressing community needs .
The program began in 1987 and many of the people who have been through the program are now serving in various leadership capacities with numerous community organizations .
Women in Leadership
Women in Leadership , a new program through the Cleburne Chamber , has continued to meet monthly since their inaugural event in May 2021 .
Women In Leadership is a group geared towards women looking for opportunities to build relationships , empower and support one another as they grow in positions of leadership in family , community and business .
The group has had several events at local , woman-owned businesses over the past year , including coffee at Mug on the Square , lunch at The Break Room Brewery and Happy Hour at Breck & Co . There are more Women in Leadership events planned for 2022 , so reach out to the chamber for information .
Hispanic Business Alliance
The Cleburne Chamber launched the Hispanic Business Alliance in summer 2021 to support and encourage the Hispanic businesses in the community .
They hold Buenos Dias Breakfast meetings and other events throughout the year . The events are open to any local Hispanic business and all chamber members .
