Promoting Cleburne ’ s local businesses within and outside of the community has been the No . 1 goal of the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce since 1919 . The chamber team and its board of directors work to build programming , events and marketing opportunities that promote Cleburne and Johnson County . The Cleburne chamber celebrated 100 years in business in 2019 . To commemorate the special milestone , the chamber revealed a new centennial logo featuring the phrase “ A Century of Service .” The logo was made into a large LED sign and is displayed in the lobby of the chamber office .
“ We chose the word ‘ service ’ for our centennial logo because through the history of the chamber , our ultimate purpose has been to serve our members and do our part to help our community prosper ,” Chamber President Tara Janszen said .
Today , the Cleburne chamber includes over 700 individual and business members .
“ We strongly believe that an investment in the Cleburne chamber is an investment to help grow your business , while generating economic growth for the entire community . Our team is committed to delivering value to our members ’ investment by providing access to business resources and information , and by providing opportunities to connect , learn , and engage with other community members ,” Janszen said .
The Cleburne Chamber of Commerce — Convention & Visitors Bureau is wholeheartedly dedicated to promoting Cleburne as a shopping destination for both visitors and community members .

The Chamber Ambassadors are a group of enthusiastic chamber members that play a vital role in helping the chamber accomplish the mission of promoting business and the community .
Ambassadors attend ribbon cuttings and awards presentations as cheerleaders and allies . They attend Quarterly Luncheons and other chamber events as ushers and familiar faces . In their effort to support the chamber , they often grow professionally and personally by building business relationships within the community . This is an active , purpose-driven group

Leadership Cleburne
Leadership Cleburne is a unique , nine-month class that gives participants a better perspective into the different businesses and organizations that make up the Cleburne community .
The class meets each month ( September through May ) on the second Wednesday , typically 8 a . m . to 5 p . m . to learn about topics such as city , county , and state government , healthcare , education , economic development , and quality of life .
During the program , participants discover and practice leadership skills for use in their professional and citizenship roles .
Additionally , participants build networks with current and emerging leaders , learn about community issues , and acquire skills to assure a more active and effective volunteer
