MARK KICKS OFF NEW SHOWROOM
FOR COLIN TOUGH JOINERY
Colin Tough Joinery marked the launch of its new showroom and workshop facilities
with an open day event held at its base in Kintore, Inverurie. Supported by Profile 22
fabricator Merlin Network (Scotland), business owners Colin and Heather Tough were
also joined by Aberdeen FC defender, Mark Reynolds who performed the official opening.
The addition of a showroom is
the latest step in the company’s
expansion plans.
Established 12 years ago as a
sole-trading operation, Colin and
Heather have worked hard during
that time to develop the business;
it now employs four full-time
members of staff including an
apprentice, and is supported by
a strong and loyal customer base.
The strength of this relationship
was evident on the day with
around 35 local joiners, builders,
plumbers and electricians joining
the celebrations.
Colin said: “Having Mark here
gave the opening a real sense of
occasion. He was also happy to
autograph various items which
went down well, including my
special issue Cup final shirt! And
everyone had a good look at the
FS70 windows on display as well
as our new door selection.”

SHARPENING UP WITH
DECEUNINCK
After listening to customer base needs for shorter
lead times and a great range of foiled finishes from
stock, fabricator Cutting Edge UPVC, has introduced
Deceuninck as additional system to its already impressive
product range, which also includes Residence 9.
Initially, Cutting Edge will be
manufacturing Deceuninck’s 2800
decorative suite, - one of the most popular
window & door systems of its type in the
UK. In keeping with rising demand for a
wider range of finishes, it will offer nine
foiled finishes from stock, along with white
including the latest Nut Tree (Mocha)
woodgrain.
Cutting Edge will also be offering trims
in all nine foils as part of a finishing pack.
Deceuninck’s KPI’s for the last year show that
they can deliver all these colours on time and
