Our customers tell us that one of the most useful features of AdminBase is the Checklist element and the way it works with other aspects of the system . The AdminBase Checklist feature works as the name suggests by breaking each project down into a Checklist of milestones . For example , booking a survey , working out costings for a project , ordering materials and booking a fitting date , to name just a few . This Checklist is accessible by everyone involved in the project and can easily be updated when progress is made so that everyone can immediately see how far along an installation is .
Holding a centralised Checklist such as this , not only improves the efficiency of all departments as they can see immediately the progress of a project it also improves customer relationships . Historically if a homeowner phones for an update on their installation , the person that answers the phone may have to make some phone calls themselves to get the information they need or pass the customer on to someone else in the business who is dealing with that stage . With the Checklist system however , whoever answers the phone can simply view the Checklist for a
live update on any project .
And because AdminBase is an ever-evolving system , we have recently further updated the feature to include a pre-programmed element that will update the Checklist automatically when data is entered in another part of AdminBase , saving even more time and resources .

The AdminBase Taskboard offers installation businesses a great way to monitor the spread of work on any given project . Job boards both physical and digital have always been a good way of tracking work across the lifetime of a project , but the AdminBase Taskboard facility makes it easy to monitor the detail behind the projects and the project milestones held in the overall Checklist .
Taskboard highlights bottlenecks where people may be overworked , and any areas deemed to still have capacity . The system also ensures there is visibility and accountability across the business so that no individual takes on more than they can handle , and no one gets away with hiding in the shadows and not pulling their weight . The portal lets consumers log in 24 hours a day , seven days a week , to help themselves to updates on their orders . The system holds all the information they need on appointments made , progress on the job , and payment status , reducing the need to call in and speak to someone . They can confirm appointments online , make payments and even when the job is complete , report any service issues that may crop up . They can even attach photos if necessary . And with the integration of the Checklist , Taskboard and Customer Portal features , all updates
are again immediately shared across the entire system , ensuring everyone has the same live information at any one time .
