ECOBUILDPREVIEW
Gearing Up for
Ecobuild 2014
CAB is delighted to announce
that it will be hosting a 100 square
metre Aluminium Pavilion for
member companies at Ecobuild
2014 (4-6 March), which promises
to be a must attend exhibition.
The Pavilion situated in the
North Hall will showcase
the environmental benefits
of aluminium to visitors at
what is the world’s leading
event for sustainable design,
construction, energy and the
built environment.
The format for CAB will
be one of a drop in lounge
where visitors can relax
and discuss their current or
future use of aluminium in
construction. The Aluminium
Pavilion will be one of a very
limited number of pavilions
at the show and will be
accommodating several CAB
members across the aluminium
in building supply chain.
Visitors to the CAB stand can
be guided through independent
research and regulatory
websites to answer important
questions about the material.
Crucially, advice given will be
the most up to date and CAB’s
experienced technical team lead
by Dr Justin Furness, CAB’s
Technical Director, will be on
hand across the three days of
the exhibition.
Visitors will be blown away
One of Europe’s leading producers of foam sealant
tapes ISO-Chemie (Stand N1220/21) will be blowing
hot and cold at Ecobuild 2014 as it takes an innovative
approach to demonstrating the benefits of its products.
The company will have an interactive display
incorporating air guns similar to those used
for spray painting for stand visitors see the
air tightness advantages of the ISO BLOCO
One and test out its sealing qualities for
themselves.
ISO-BLOCO One foam sealing tape available with a 10 year performance guarantee
- enables installers to easily seal windows from
inside the building, avoiding the need to use
time consuming and costly external access
systems like scaffolding and ladders. It offers
a single ‘fit and forget’ solution for fast and
effective sealing based around the European
RAL principles of three level sealing - the inside
seal area is more airtight than the external one,
allowing any trapped moisture inside the joint,
or within the wall, to escape outwards rather
than into the building.
Quick and easy-to-apply, the self-adhesive ISOBLOCO One provides a high performance seal
for window and door joints up to 30mm wide.
