PROUD SPONSOR OF DOORS & WINDOWS DOORS&WINDOWS 70 DOORSETS TRANSFORM WAREHOUSE DES RES » » A CONVERSION OF A VICTORIAN warehouse into residential accommodation has used Spectus Elite 70 doorsets to stunning effect. The project had two entrances and the doorsets were manufactured by Derbyshire- based Spectus fabricator Titan Trade Windows. The clients chose a bevelled profile in cream, with one entrance replaced by a single residential doorset set into a glazed section and the other by large French doors. Ben Vowles, Operations Manager at Titan, takes up the story. “The project needed exceptional attention to detail to deliver a high quality finish. The position of the mullions was key in ensuring the sightlines were intact with the first floor frames and also gave internal clearance for the stairs.” To ensure the project was completed to the standard required, Titan worked closely with the installer, Leicestershire’s The Right Window Company. The support of the Epwin Window Systems technical team was also drawn upon. Ben says: “Conversations with the Epwin Window Systems technical team helped us develop the right solution. We used the structural mullion profiles not only between the shaped frames and doorset frames but also between the doors and side lights.” www.epwinwindowsystems.co.uk GO EXTREME WITH NEW SOLID CORE DOOR » » LEADING UK FABRICATOR, Conservatory Outlet Ltd, has this week launched its ground-breaking new Solid Core Door Collection.
