“Last year Floyd was hospitalised with
pneumonia and it was then that I really
understood not just how important Shelforce
was to him but how important Floyd was to
Shelforce.
“He literally never wants to miss a day at
work and although seriously ill he kept asking
when he could go back to work. He takes so
much pride in doing his job well and with real
attention to detail.”

preconceptions about what Floyd is capable
of. Shelforce has shown that given the right
support the sky is the limit.
There are so many aspects of life where his
disability makes navigating and understanding
the world so difficult for Floyd, being at
Shelforce gives Floyd real freedom and an
opportunity to shine.”
