Unveiling new product
GLASSTEC, HALL 11,
STAND G42
SWISSPACER is exhibiting
at Glasstec, the world’s largest
trade show for the glass industry,
taking place 20-23 September
in Dusseldorf, Germany. The
world’s No.1 warm edge spacer
bar is launching a new product at
the exhibition in Hall 11, Stand
G42.
In addition to its latest product
launch, SWISSPACER will be
showing SWISSPACER Air, a
clever innovation that regulates
air pressure inside the sealed unit
to prevent sealed unit failure
caused by changes in air pressure
or altitude. Visitors will be able to
learn more about SWISSPACER
and try out Caluwin, its smart
energy calculating app that
lets users change components
to calculate their effect on a
window’s energy savings. The
stand will also have the latest
high-performance welder by
Rotter & Rudiger, which welds
perfect-corner SWISSPACER
frames in less than 30 seconds.

50 YEARS OF MACHINES

Bystronic glass in Bützberg,
Switzerland celebrated its 50-year
anniversary, the NeuhausenHamburg division in Baden
Württemberg, Germany followed
suit. This location has been
developing, manufacturing
and shipping machines and
insulating glass production
units all over the world since
1966. Employees, their families
as well as former employees all
celebrated this major company
anniversary together with the
management board at a Family
Day, which took place in July
2016.
The celebrations for the 50year anniversary are continuing
and will culminate at glasstec
in Düsseldorf, which is taking
place between 20th and 23rd
September 2016. Bystronic
glass will be celebrating the
“Anniversary Party 50 Years
Bystronic glass” between
5:00pm. and 9:00pm on
Wednesday, 21st September
2016 with its customers at the
trade fair stand. In addition, a
“Happy Hour” will take place on
Tuesday and Thursday between
5:00pm and 6:00pm with
regional, culinary specialties.

The NSG Group, owner of
the Pilkington brand, will be
exhibiting its latest innovations at
this year’s Glasstec in Dusseldorf
on 20th – 23rd September
2016.
The Group will be showcasing
a window unit containing
Building Integrated Photovoltaics
(BIPV) that allows a building
to generate renewable energy,
helping improve energy
performance.
The company will also unveil
its new digital display mirror
products and a corrosion and
humidity-resistant chromium
based mirror. Coated with a
highly reflective mirror coating,
Pilkington MirroView™ and
Pilkington MirroView™ 50/50
products are ideal for concealing
digital displays and video screens
when they are turned off. When
the display is turned on, the
glass allows the display to show
through.
Pilkington Mirropane™
Chrome is a chromium based
mirror that can be used for
wet areas and rooms with high
humidity, making it suitable for
applications in bathrooms, hotel
lobbies, health clubs or gyms.
In addition, the company will
showcase Pilkington OptiView™,
a new anti-reflective glass that
offers high light transmission, low
reflection and UV blocking. The
glass is suitable in applications
which require clarity of view
and a neutral colour, such as
display cases, retail shop fronts,
showrooms, sports stadiums,
cabinets or outdoor digital
signage.
