Driving their way to supporting a great cause
»»THIS YEAR, THE CONSULTANCY HAS
decided to join the MADi Fundraising team
and dust off their driving gloves by taking part
in the MADI Ball Rally.
Originally set up in 2014 by Leon Day
of Universal Arches, Dan Gill of Residence
Collection and Gareth Mobley of Solidor,
the fundraising was aimed to provide support
to the Anthony Nolan Trust, one that is very
close to the hearts of the three founders.
Having been a company working in the
industry for over 10 years, The Consultancy
has seen the support and encouragement the
glazing industry has offered to one another
when partaking in fundraising events.
Richie Thornton, Director of The
Consultancy, said: “The MADi Ball Rally
was something that we considered in its first
year, and the money that was raised for the
Anthony Nolan Trust was enough to make up
our minds.”
With an aim of raising more than the
first years’ rally, which totaled at a stunning
£130,000, the team is set to complete over
27.5 hours of driving, from England to
Monaco, across three days.
Richie continued: “Following a Modern
Classics theme, myself and Paul will be
representing The Consultancy in a MG MGB
Roadster.”
