Seven new door designs
Entrance® has added seven new door designs and eight
new side panel options to its range of composite doors.
»»ENTRANCE IS A FULLY-TAILORED
composite door solution for fabricators to
supply their own range of composite doors
without the stress or expense of sourcing or
stock holding. The new designs give fabricator
customers even more choice to offer installers
from their own composite door range.
Entrance customers have a choice of 13
traditional and contemporary door styles in
any RAL colour delivered within 10 days.
Managing Director, Gregory Kelly,
says: “Some fabricators want to sell doors
without the stress or hassle of making
everything. They can choose their own
range of composite doors in any RAL colour
– a huge choice - and their own range of
glass and hardware. We get everything they
need to make the door in one package, so
it’s ready to fit into their own frame within
10 days.
“The additional door designs mean
fabricators can give their customers even more
choice without holding stock,” adds Gregory.
“And we help them sell their range with full
marketing support including shade cards,
brochures, and a personalised Door Designer
for their website.”

GOING THE EXTRA MILE FOR DISABLED CUSTOMER
»»WITH ITS FLAGSHIP
XtremeDoor, composite door
king Vista is confident it has
created the best product in its
class. But that doesn’t mean
Vista isn’t willing to adjust that
hugely successful template if a
customer requires it. In fact, the
Wirral-based recently produced
a very special XtremeDoor
designed to make life as easy
as possible for a disabled
customer.
Wheelchair-bound Paul
Francom finds it difficult to
carry out everyday tasks like
letting people into the house
– something that previously
required him to awkwardly
manoeuvre his chair to the
front door every time someone
called round. Told about Paul’s
predicament, local window
fabricators Direct View
Windows Ltd asked Vista to
help, and the composite door
expert set about designing a
high-tech solution that would
make letting people in much
easier.
The result was an
XtremeDoor that incorporated a
state-of-the-art AV2E electronic
lock from respected automatic
lock specialists, Winkhaus.
Paul’s new AV2E-equipped
XtremeDoor is able to interact
with an outside webcam and his
smartphone, using the Locks
Online wireless intercom app,
which means he can see who’s at
the door and let them in from
wherever he’s sat in the house.
