Out of 12 applicants for ‘East Midlands
Chamber Small Business of the Year 2015’
award, Jackloc is delighted to have been
chosen as one of the three finalists.

Chamber’s 2015 Business Awards aim to
recognise, reward and celebrate business
excellence across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire
and Leicestershire.
The next step was a presentation to the
judging panel at Leicester University on 29th
July. The winner will be announced at the
East Midlands Chamber of Commerce 2015
Leicestershire Business Awards Dinner on
September 9th.

Ivan_Intro app digs
up new business
The way glaziers find work looks set to change forever
following the launch of revolutionary new app Ivan_intro.

fronted by Ivan the mole, is powered by

mines Twitter for key phrases in conversations
or mentions relevant to glaziers. The app then
automatically sends a personalised response

The user-friendly app, which is free to

OS devices, comes pre-loaded with over 150
trades and occupations, and can be set up in
six easy steps. Once installed and set up, the

intro also allows users to set a radius of up to
20 miles, keeping its mining of introductions

The app comes pre-loaded with five free
responses. The user can set up a reply to leads
unearthed by Ivan. Users can use an in-app
top-up to buy more responses if required.
Ivan_intro currently works with Twitter’s
15+ million active users, but its creators,
Sociosciences, intends to include users of
other social media, including Instagram and
Facebook.
