Cardiff property restored
to its former glory

has recently completed the installation of nine
Spectus Vertical Sliders in white woodgrain
in two full stone bay windows and one single
window at a property in Whitchurch in
Cardiff.
Hywel Graham, Operations Manager
of Heath Windows and Doors, said: “The
homeowners approached us because they
wanted to replicate the authenticity of their
original windows with the modern PVC-U
equivalent. The Spectus Vertical Slider is a
great looking window and as such is really easy
to sell, as it was in this case.”
Heath Windows and Doors has been
installing Spectus Vertical Sliders for many
years. Hywel explains: “Many of the properties
in Cardiff still have their original wooden
sash windows and they are now in need of
replacement. The Spectus VS mirrors the
Victorian sliders perfectly but with all the
advantages that only a modern-day PVC-U
window can achieve. The product is very
straightforward to install too.”
The windows were fabricated by
well-established Spectus Vertical Slider
manufacturer Windoor Mate in Gelli.

Integral bifolds come with
many innovative features
comprising of specifically
engineered robust double-walled
aluminium profiles, double hinge
fixings, stainless-steel tracks and
brushed rollers providing Integral

The external frame and sash
upstand are bevelled to match
the leading PVC-U systems.
For a contemporary look, there
is the alternative of a sash with
a square-shaped upstand. All
doors are internally glazed and
