CONTINUED INVESTMENT FOR ONLINE ORDERING

TRUFRAME HAS INVESTED further in its IT infrastructure, with over 58 % of customers now ordering online regularly via mobile, tablet and desktop devices, helping to streamline order processing and reduce lead times for product deliveries.
A new fibre optic line has been installed at the Melton Mowbray-based fabricator, magnifying the band width tenfold, providing 100mb / s upload and download performance. This will also allow for a number of other customers to come on board.
In an age where the vast majority of consumers are comfortable with online ordering, with global giants such as Amazon or even dedicated digital supermarkets such as Ocado, the industry is quickly adopting these new online technologies. For these TruFrame customers already ordering online, it’ s improved their respective business efficiencies, provided them with a 24 / 7 service and eliminated any of the risks associated with multiple ordering entry.
Patrick Firmager, Director of TruFrame, commented:“ We’ ve been quick to build a solution that’ s as effective on a phone or tablet as it is on a desktop solution. We have a vision for the future that over 80 % of customers will order online and with effective training and investment, we hope to make this a reality.”
