Michael started Edgetech in 1987, and was one of the key creative drivers behind what would become the company’s flagship product – Super Spacer. Super Spacer, the pioneering warm-edge spacer, went on to help transform world glazing, and has been fitted in tens of millions of windows all around the world. In 1989, Edgetech became part of Lauren International, but Michael remained intimately involved in the business. In 2011, the company was bought by Quanex Building Products. Michael leaves behind an amazing legacy of innovation, and a vision that’s helped shape the fenestration industry into what it is today. Kevin E.
