MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
ESTIMATOR
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator
to join a privately owned bespoke glass company. Producing
quotations on a fantastic range of glass products including
structural glass on commercial schemes. You will be involved
from the start, interpreting enquiries and liaising with Architects,
Contractors and End-users, providing costings and following
these up, working closely with the Design Team and Installation
Department. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mainte-
nance Engineer to join a well-established machinery supplier.
Candidates must be able to use electronic estimating software
and have a good understanding of glazing systems and glass.
Knowledge of Building and FENSA Regulations and the ability
to respond accurately and efficiently to technical enquiries are
essential. Candidates must be able to know, or be capable of learning,
CNC programming, PLC controls etc., and have a logical mind.
Good timekeeping and the ability to work to strict deadlines are
essential.
Duties will include but not be limited to installation, commis-
sioning of repair and maintaining new and reconditioned
automated machinery for the aluminium and PVCu industry.
The role comes with flexible working hours and candidates
must be prepared to work away as and when required.

SALES ESTIMATOR PRODUCT ENGINEER
Our client is recruiting for a technically-minded Estimator with
excellent customer and communication skills. There is no
requirement to bring in new business, the role’s focus is to
follow up all enquiries professionally and appropriately. This will
include dealing with Architects, Building Companies and
End-users, producing a detailed quotation ready for agreement
and subsequent procurement.
Candidates must have a technical understanding of glazing
products and should be able to understand and interpret
construction drawings. You will also need good commercial
and communication skills and should be able to use electronic
estimating systems.

Walling, Façades, Doors and Windows are recruiting for a
Product Engineer.
The role will involve providing AutoCAD drawings for projects
and products as well as producing project quotations and
bespoke project solutions using in-house software. Managing
all aspects of projects, material schedules, product availability
against delivery requirements.
Candidates must have a background in either Fenestration
Systems or Engineering with a broad expertise in curtain
walling, windows and doors including technical principles and
mechanics. Detailed knowledge of Building Regulations,
industry relevant British Standards, EN Standards and Building
Control requirements are essential.
