ENERGYEFFICIENCY New Product Roll Out + Team Focus Guardian Warm Roof Unveils New Business Development Manager. NEW ADDITIONS TO THE GUARDIAN ROOF RANGE Simon will also need to keep pace with the latest product information about the widening Guardian Warm Roof product range. Joe added: “Simon is joining at a busy time for Guardian. Our product range is getting bigger and better all the time. We are rolling out the Guardian Extension launched earlier this year. And our new glazed panel system called Solstice will be launched soon.” Solstice is a new stylish, integrated rooflight system providing enhanced levels of natural light. It is designed exclusively for easy integration and to be fitter friendly with the Guardian Solid Roof System for both conservatory roof conversions and the Guardian Home Extension. » » SIMON BARTLETT JOINS Guardian as it launches a new rooflight system called Solstice whilst momentum builds in the national roll out of the new lightweight extension product - Guardian Extension. Simon has worked in the conservatory industry for over 20-years. He joins Guardian from Lancashire conservatory supplier and installer Specialised Conservatory Systems where he was a director for 13 years. Before that he worked for Ultraframe, where he had been on the team for 11 years since he left school in Clitheroe. New Guardian Warm Roof business development manager, Simon Bartlett, said: “I already knew what a good system the Guardian Roof was from working in the industry. But I’d also dealt with Joe and Ross from Guardian, on several occasions. Whenever we spoke I was always struck by their passion for their products and their company. I know how hard they have worked to get the brand to where it is today. So when an opportunity arose to join the company I couldn’t wait to get started.” Simon will have three key national roles: He’ll be a devoted resource for the Guardian Installer network - Team Guardian. 72 » N OV 2018 » CL EARVI E W- UK . C O M His role will help over 500 installers all to maximise sales and profits through a better understanding of the product range. Simon will also have an important role in maintaining Guardian’s rigorous standards. This will include product education and cascading best practice. Key to this task will be his relationship with the Guardian fabricator network to support their installers and build closer relationships in each UK region. Simon’s final key role will involve active recruitment of new installers with most to gain from the benefits of Team Guardian membership. Each new installer will be matched with a local fabricator to build relationships that help them win more business backed by the quality of the Guardian Warm Roof portfolio of products. For Guardian, Joe Kearney said: “For a young guy – at just 41-years-old – Simon has a wealth of industry knowledge and contacts. I know our installers and fabricators will take a shine to him. Simon understands the realities of making a fabricator and installer business work. He talks their language. And this know-how will be a valuable resource for all Team Guardian members.” The Guardian Extension is a new breed of high quality, versatile, affordable home extension that protects installer margins and offers customers a stylish robust extension in a fraction of the time it takes to complete a traditional build. All the elements of the Guardian Extension are pre-assembled, factory- engineered modular construction for superior build quality. High-performance insulation provides superior energy savings with zero on-site waste. This transforms the homeowner build experience. The versatile system boasts a wide range of colours and finishes too. There’s even a bespoke design service to recommend and design the best solution for every project. It’s all part of the Guardian training and technical support partnership from start to finish. Guardian Warm Roof was the UK’s first solid conservatory roof system in the country with Local Authority Building Control (LABC) and LABSS approval.
