The investment means Terry and the team can offer RAL coloured aluminium bi-fold doors on a three-day lead time, on any standard RAL colour, and a six-day lead time on any standard RAL dualcolour, subject to terms and conditions. The service is the fastest bi-fold turnaround the industry has seen and TWR is the only supplier in the industry to offer the service. In response to skyrocketing demand for its coloured aluminium bi-fold doors, TWR officially opened a new factory in August, in addition to its long-standing headquarters and original factory in Sunderland. The new 25,000 sq ft factory in Peterlee, County Durham is one of the biggest dedicated bifolding door operations in the UK. TWR launched a new premium product, as part of the its ongoing commitment to offering its installers the latest, cutting edge products. WarmCore from Synseal features a 70mm front to back frame with a multichambered PVCu core, clad in aluminium and gives installers the opportunity to increase their selling prospects at the high-end of the entrance door market. Following the expansion of its product range, TWR’s operations followed suit as the manufacturer expanded into the land of the Red Dragon following increased demand for its products from installers in Wales. Research from the CITB forecasts the Welsh construction sector to be the fastest growing in the UK. When Terry established TWR Bifolds two years ago (it is part of the long-established TWR group), he did so with the aim of helping installers take advantage of the lucrative bi-folding door market through supplying quality products and offering world class service. Terry comments: “It is amazing that we have come so far in such a short amount of time.
