New Upgrade Gives Customers
Clearer Understanding
»»Roof and door
fabricator, Made For Trade has
unveiled a new brochure for its
in-demand Visofold bi-folding
door system.
A revamp of its existing
aluminium bi-folding door
booklet, the updated version
includes information on the new
options available and is packed
with images displaying the popular
product to its full potential.
The brochure’s creator, graphic
designer Ian Bousfield, explained:
“We hope it will give both current
and potential customers a clearer
understanding of the Visofold
bi-folding doors that Made For
Trade supply, and the various
design and threshold options
available.”
Alongside the brochure, Ian has
also been responsible for Made
For Trade’s recent rebranding,
which has included an improved
logo and a new website.
He adds: “With the
development and growth of the
company, it’s necessary to ensure
the brand remains fresh and
adaptable, with the ability to
communicate the organisation’s
products effectively.”
It has been a very busy couple
of years for Made For Trade,
with increased staff levels and
expanding factory space to cater
for its best-selling core products –
the Global conservatory roof and
Visofold bi-folding door.
Managing Director, Bradley
Gaunt, hopes the company’s
growth will continue into 2016
and beyond.
Commenting, he advised:
“We have established ourselves
as a company with top-range,
quality products while also
making maximum savings for our
customers. We hope to continue
our expansion next year and
develop the brand further.”

Well Prepared to Meet New Standards
»»Fast growing composite door
manufacturer, DOORCO, has been advising
customers for some time that it was ready well
ahead of the deadline for amends to Approved
Document Q, and as further reassurance, the
company is now pleased to share video footage
which shows its door passing the PAS 24 cut
test.
DOORCO has long been prepared for
the new and more rigid security standards,
thanks to investment more than two years
ago in the production of a new breed of
composite doors – one of which (the Combi
door) even allows multiple door styles to be
created from one design. Crucially, this new
breed incorporates significantly improved
security features across the board which stand
up to the new regulations, and stock was
adjusted accordingly at the time to ensure that
customers now receive the higher security door
as standard.
Dan Sullivan, Managing Director at
DOORCO explains: “At DOORCO we
not only pride ourselves on leading the way
in product quality and innovation, but also

customer service, and DOORCO customers
knew we were prepared well in advance of
October 1st. As additional reassurance – and
in the name of openness and transparency - we
now have the video evidence to prove it.
“The cut through test was performed as part
of the latest round of security testing at BM
TRADA, all of which we passed with flying
colours. You can see for yourself that our door
withstood the attack for the three minute
duration.”
