which he believes will give him a

Managing Director, Allan
Moores took the decision to
set up the business over twelve
months ago due to the increase
demand he was experiencing
through a sister company, who
colour all type of glass products.
Allan explains: “I have worked
in the Fenestration industry
for nearly 30 years, fabricating
and fitting windows and doors,
cutting and manufacturing
glass products, repairing and
maintaining all areas of glass,
windows and doors, and I have
seen trends grow through the
development of technologies and
innovation.
“Colouring of PVCu and
glass products has seen a massive
explosion and uptake from the
consumer over recent years,
because of the need to make their
homes look and feel unique.
Technology advancements in
paints and sprays from the paint
manufacturers have also driven
the ability for businesses to offer
the consumer more and more
colours for their homes than ever
before.
“Although still in its infancy,
ColouredPlas has been borne out
of the need to service the demand
for PVCu products, along with
my desire to service the industry
and consumers with a range of
products that they can order at the
touch of a button.” Allan adds.

online, Allan has developed an

spectrum, and delivered anywhere
in the UK within 7 days.
Allan explains why he decided
to choose this type of selling
channel, in addition to also
offering traditional sales methods:
“I wanted to create an easier way
for customers to shop, and online
selling is the ideal solution. Of
course, this doesn’t diminish
any of ou r responsibility as a
manufacturer to offer the best
technical advice concerning our
products, and included on the site
is a ‘Live Chat’ option for visitors,
which they can enquire about
the products at specific hours of
the day. Outside of this, they are
able to contact us and we will
call back and talk though their
requirements.

facility, firstly gives the customer
the opportunity to show their
customers the colour offering - we
have included a section on the site
which shows a visual of all colours
swatches, and also then the ability
to order at a time which suits
them – during the evening, early
morning...” Allan adds.
