COMING SOON Associate Director of Certification at Wintech, Mark Swanborough has announced that the WinMark Window and Door General Performance Certification Scheme will soon be introduced as an entry level certification scheme, covering windows and doors produced to British Standards. The WinMark general performance certification schemes will help manufacturers certify products against the material specific product standards. • Timber windows to BS 644 • PVC-U windows to BS 7412 • Aluminium windows to BS 4873 • Composite material doorsets to BS 8529 Similar to the existing WinMark schemes, the WinMark Scheme for Window and Door General Performance will include a factory production control audit. This enables Wintech to assess how your products are fabricated and quality control checked on both an initial and ongoing basis.
