PROUD SPONSOR OF INDUSTRY NEWS INDUSTRYNEWS TOOLFAIR TAKEN BY STORM » » ADHESIVE, SEALANT AND TAPE specialists illbruck went down a storm during the Manchester and Exeter legs of Toolfair, the travelling trade show for builders and tradespeople. Hitting Event City in Trafford between the 16th and 18th of March, and Westpoint Exeter between the 19th and 20th of April, Toolfair drew thousands from all around the country to see the very latest in tools and construction tech. At the illbruck stand, visitors could glimpse a host of cutting-edge sealant solutions – perhaps most notably, the innovative multi-use construction adhesive, PU700. PU700 is a high-performance solution for bonding bricks and other construction materials. Capable of replacing traditional mortar, as well as serving as very high strength adhesive for wood and joinery, PU700 can offer huge time and cost savings. It would take 12 cartridges of traditional sealant to perform the same number of jobs that can be completed with one can of PU700. What’s more, the product cures quickly, allowing joints to be handled within just ten minutes of application. It cures fully within 24 hours. illbruck will continue to exhibit at Toolfair this year at Harrogate, Coventry and Sandown Park, Surrey. www.illbruck.com STOKE CITY MEMORABILIA GENEROUSLY DONATED TO LOCAL STAFFORDSHIRE HOSPICE » » PROMINENT STOKE-ON-TRENT fabricator Listers Central has continued its long-term support of the local Dougie Mac Hospice, by donating a large variety of Stoke City FC memorabilia. As official partners of Stoke City for over six years, the donation includes signed and framed programmes, shirts and footballs, including shirts from Stoke’s 2016/17 ties with Hull City and Watford. The collection even includes a framed Listers sponsored shirt for an XI formed by World Cup winning keeper Gordan Banks, and a framed athletics shirt from British pole vaulter Steve Lewis. The special lot will be up for grabs as part of a fundraising auction, taking place at the Dougie Mac Annual Ball in October. The money raised will help the hospice continue its important work of supporting patients with life-limiting conditions and their families. Increasing support within the local community is just one of the many ambitions of new owner Roy Frost. Acquired in September last year, the Stoke-based firm joins GJB Window Systems in forming the GJB Holdings Group. The move allows Listers Central to grow its position as a nationwide supplier to the trade. www.listertf.co.uk PatioMaster West Midlands opens for business » » IN-LINE SLIDING PATIO door specialist PatioMaster has announced that PatioMaster West Midlands has opened for business and will be fabricating market- leading doors for customers.
